This 1954 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is a rare example of American automotive art from the 50s – a time when Cadillac was the epitome of prestige, innovation and luxurious driving pleasure. Under the long, elegant hood lies a powerful 331 cubic inch V8 engine with 230 horsepower, coupled to a 4-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, which delivers the smooth and effortless drive that Cadillac was famous for.

The car is one of just 2,150 examples produced in 1954, making it a highly sought-after model. At the time, the Eldorado name stood for the absolute best in design and engineering – a vehicle created for those who wanted the best of the best. The elegant lines, the distinctive grille and the early tail fins made the model an icon from the start.

This special car underwent a complete restoration in Denmark in the period 2000–2001, carried out by a Cadillac specialist, and today it appears in truly excellent condition. During the restoration, the car was sanded down to the metal, where no rust was found, after which it was professionally painted at an authorized auto body shop. The car has been completely disassembled and rebuilt, and individual parts have been replaced with original Cadillac parts. The interior has been replaced with original Cadillac leather, and the gearbox has been renovated at an authorized workshop.

In 2000 and 2012, the car was voted the best renovated car at Ringkøbingløbet in Denmark, which testifies to the quality of the work and the excellent condition of the car.

The car has had the same owner for the last 25 years and has been looked after and cared for with great care. The original instruction booklet is included. The car has also received a new hydraulic pump and a new hood.

The car has been recently inspected, which means that there are eight years until the next inspection, and it drives perfectly – exactly as you would expect from a well-maintained Cadillac.
