The Mercedes-Benz W 113, also known as the “Pagoda,” is a two-seat roadster/coupe that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963. The model was produced from 1963 to 1971. All versions of this car are equipped with a six-cylinder in-line engine with injection.
The W 113 is known for its relatively short and wide chassis, excellent suspension and powerful brakes, which make it a very smooth driving car. Our car is a Mercedes 230 SL, one of the early pagodas that was produced in 1963. The car has undergone major restoration in the period 2002-2004, where it has been completely disassembled and sanded down and given a new coat of paint and new chrome. The car appears in nice condition with normal signs of use, having been fitted with an engine from a 2.8 L Mercedes 280 SL. This means that the car really has good traction and feels fresh to drive. The previous owner of the car has had it for 21 years and it has always been kept in a heated garage. The car has been on many summer trips down through Europe over the years, so this is a car that has also been used and is also in good mechanical condition. Note with manual transmission, Hardtop in the color of the car is included. The car comes with Danish/EU papers including vat.
Sold in the condition the car is in due to age km – call for more information on this. Feel free to contact us for further information.
