The 300 SL Roadster was introduced in 1957 as a further development of the legendary 300 SL “Gullwing” Coupé. Where the Coupé was known for its characteristic gullwing doors, the Roadster was designed with a focus on a more comfortable and open driving experience – but without compromising on its superior performance. A total of just 1,858 examples of the 300 SL Roadster were produced between 1957 and 1963.
